A system of
systems thinkers

Advancing joined-up thinking in the built environment.

Welcome to the
Built Environment
Connective

The Built Environment Connective is all about making connections: we connect people in communities of change, and link systems to positive outcomes.

Community

Connecting system thinkers across government, industry, academia, and civil society

Consensus

Building a common language for meaningful dialogue and co-creating a shared understanding

Change

Developing and implementing tangible recommendations to drive positive systems change across our built environment

In partnership with:

Connect
to change

On 10 April we soft launched ‘Connect to change’, a collective call for systems thinking and doing, to improve the performance and effectiveness of the built environment.

The paper sets out practical actions that you and your organisation can take, and recommended next steps for government and industry.

Please read the paper – and give us feedback via the ‘Connect’ form on this site or our LinkedIn page. Share your insights and experiences of systems thinking and doing. Ask questions (and offer answers). And let us know if you’d like to become involved in advancing systems thinking in the built environment.

We are building on what has gone before
